Didn't see anyone doing well while doing the same thing Wickedly Perfect did on 8/6. Being close to a fast pace, and being stretch strong in that area of the track? Not that day. The other 2 horses (close to the lead) ran like most of the other speed on that day (struggled in the stretch.) Z Warrior, Izshelegal, and She'll Heir had every reason to have the advantage in the lane. They couldn't get to her. That's the way horses look when they try to get to a good horse. Don't leave her out. I don't like anything about O'neil, but she'll be tough. If I take 1, it's her. If I take 2, I'll add the Sadler. Sure wish they had posts further out.

So for arguments sake... if the 4 was the horse who actually came out into the 9th path and interfered with the 1-5 chalk, would there still have been no change...?

The 1-to-5 chalk would have still finished ahead of the 4 despite such an infraction ... so no, there would have been no change on account of the fact that you can't DQ a horse if the one they foul finishes ahead of them.

of course, but i think he is referring to IF the horse that won was large odds and interfered with a 1:5 shot the same way. |

If they would have DQ twirling candy and placed him last, just imagine the show payoffs with the 1-5 shot, and the second choice out of the exotics.
