Ron Turcotte @ Delaware Park

Ron Turcotte was at Delaware Park on Saturday, signing autographs and meeting fans. Great guy -- glad to have met him.

I was there early for the Handicapping Contest and the line wasn't too bad. Later, after the contest, the line must have been near 100 people deep.

Bill Nack was also there later alongside Ron, but I didn't get to meet him -- again, the line was huge.

If this is in any way due to the movie, as one would suspect, I'm all for it and hope it gets an Oscar nomination, even if it doesn't win.

he is a great guy and will talk to anyone. he hangs out by the paddock at saratoga almost every day.
