So, Medicare would continue to cover everything normally, until the money ran out for that year? Then nobody could be covered?

It's easy to say, "cut Medicare 20%" But that means absolutely nothing in real life. The devil is in the details.

there can be 20% cut in medicare , just like in defense

you have to find where the fat is and eliminate it can be done

i'm sure , fraud makes up about 10% of the medicare budget as is , so you are really only cutting it 10%

The Devil sure was in the details of that 2500+ page Obamacare Bill that nobody actually bothered to read before they voted YES. Now the Govt. is in charge of deciding who gets a waiver and who doesn't. NY Teachers Union? McDonalds? Give me a break.

If ANYONE needs a waiver, it might not be "The Goods".

I guess my share of the 20% cut is the medication I've been taking for the past two years to prevent another stroke is no longer allowed on either Medicare or Tricare. Guess the government feels that people are living too long. That's the best way to cut expenses - kill 'em off early.

It might be a case of you get what you pay for. My doctor is confronting insurance about this. It's not like I get it for free. I pay $81 month for this medication - even with the two insurances.

I'm not going to worry about it - might give myself another stroke. :-)

Right? Until it affects them.
