And still, congrats to the Bradleys and Brass Hat!

![]() Just an FYI. If we're going by behind the scenes talk, my pm box can confirm you are as popular behind the scenes as you are on the board.
But isn't it kind of ironic you are discussing people with junior high mentality, considering your posts in this thread? |

![]() I was a backer of Brass Hat when he was entered in the Rushaway as a 3yo; I picked him in the Citgo pick 6 contest, as a maiden. Made some nice coin on him in the Ohio and Indiana Derbies, was devastated when he was hurt in Texas on the pre-BC card. When he came back, I was sure he was going to turn into one of the ones; the new Kelso or the new John Henry. The East Coast sorts dismissed his chances in the Donn H, so I got a nice price when he ran away from Suave, Magna Graduate, et. al. And then his race in Dubai! Again, he ran better than anybody gave him a chance to.
After Dubai, it all seemed to fall apart for Brass Hat. They took away his second place for trace amounts and he looked flat in the Foster first back. Then he was hurt and he has never been the horse he was beforehand. He was so good before that second injury; I miss what he could have been - one of the kings of the older horse ranks. |

![]() He is a pretty awesome horse. The kind I'm glad I won't have to wonder about on BC day.
