![]() One of 2010's Best films, in my opinion, is Winter's Bone. It's about a 17 year old girl named Ree Dolly, who's trying to care for a mother who's gone mentally ill, and 2 younger siblings. The father who's a meth dealer has been arrested, and is missing after putting the family's home up to post his bond. So Ree has to find her father and bring him back, or risk losing the house. It's an amazing film, and features an Oscar worthy performance by this newcomer Jennifer Lawerence (as Ree), she has to endure so much in this film. The performance is both brave, and human at the same time. Also another fine performance by John Hawkes as Ree's uncle Teardrop. Very good film, see it if you haven't. If you have seen it would love to read your thoughts on this film?

![]() Thanks for the pick, that would did look like a horror film, that may be worth a look. We get bombarded with these cheesy slasher films constantly, it's rare to find an actual scary horror type film. Will check that one out. Hawkes is talented.
