I was actually surprised to see Machen finish in 4th. Considering the black cloud touted him, the fact he finished at all is remarkable.

I believe I should be at my abesolute best next start and it most likely will be in a very big event! Thanks for all the well wishes!!!!
No wonder Pletcher's horses never run they are too busy playing on the internet. Mission Impaziable updated:

I am happy to report that I am back at Palm Meadows safe and sound. I will spend the next few weeks training towards the GII New Orleans Handicap back at my favorite track (Fairgrounds) on March 26th.

Poor guy just doesn't get the attention that Mo does.

One of his owners was hounding me at the Sales one night last Summer, claiming I didn't give him the respect he deserved, but I would regret it after he was 2011 HOY.

I told him I picked and bet him in the LA Derby. What more did he want?

However, HOY may be slipping away.

When I asked a certain someone here if they liked him that day he said "Not especially." I played him anyway. This wasn't meant as a redboard, but to relive that sweet victory I felt over that person when MI crossed the wire in front.

The little things in life, you know?

They better hope the road to HOTY is paved with nothing but perfect trips and race set-ups from here on.

He has his limitations but, I think his performance was the best we saw in the stakes Saturday at the Fair Grounds.
Whatever that means!
