Darn interesting, thanks. Pictures are great. Terrible birth defects over there, aren't there? (haven't read through all the site yet)

But I doubt you'd be able to get me within 50 miles of the place for longer than 10 seconds, thanks

Very interesting, thanks for posting Tom. This was one of the worst things to ever happen. The whole area around the Chernobyl will be uninhabitable for anywhere from 200-20,000 years.

I thought it was fascinating as well, though I wouldn't want to make the tour in person. I can't believe people stood on that bridge and watched it burn.

I was living fairly close to Three Mile Island at the time, I am grateful that we were able to control the limited meltdown...it took years for the truth of the situation to become known...one reason I am suspicious of the Japanese government's handling of the current crisis!
