The Poker has an interesting look to it, to say the least.

Courageous Cat looks dangerous on the front end.

Right One could have won by as many as he wanted last out (with the might Nicanor in the field too) and may move forward 3rd off.

Beau Choix best doesn't look to be enough.

Court Vision's best days seem to be behind him but will still take money.

Riviera Cocktail needs a pace he's not gonna get.

There was once a day when the jock switch on Yield Bogey would have been a major switch.

With a firm turf, the play for me would be a straight Courageous Cat/Right One exacta.

Maybe you should watch their race again.

A slight exaggeration on my part. I know Beau Choix had trouble in the stretch, but do you think he still gets to the winner without the trouble?

I don't know that he would have either, but he got a monumentally stupid ride, and the winner had a perfect trip. Also, don't count me in the " he could have won by a lot more " group. I'm also not saying Right One can't win, as obviously he can, but I'm not as excited about him as some, and think the very fact that it's not clear he's a lot better than Beau Choix is hardly a ringing endorsement of his talents.

Given the likely large disparity between their prices, I would rather bet Beau Choix. I'm also not perticularly enamored with any of them. I'm still trying to figure out why Get Stormy ( assuming he won't run Saturday ) is not running here.

Let's hope Saturday produces mores starters in the stakes races. Looking forward to the card.

Sadly, I think that you won't get what you are hoping for - smaller fields seem on course (save the Belmont) reviewing the various lists of potential fields. I hope some others get drummed up, though. Fingers crossed.

Not in the Manhattan, either.
