#3 Ruler On Ice (20-1) - Hard to endorse with the suspect competition he's been facing.
#4 Santiva (15-1) - Derby was better than it looked and could be primed for a peak performance.
#5 Brilliant Speed (15-1) - Expecting him to make his late rally and possibly catch a piece underneath.
#6 Nehro (4-1) - Versatile running style suits him well and the 5-week rest could be the difference between him being draped with carnations.
#7 Monzon (30-1) - Will have to improve dramatically to have any say so in this outcome.
#8 Prime Cut (15-1) - Interesting to see if he'll attempt to pressure Shackleford early and have something late.
#9 Animal Kingdom (2-1) - Validated Derby win with strong effort in Preakness and no reason to think he won't be there when it counts again.
#10 Mucho Macho Man (10-1) - Shoes won't be his excuse here and picks up top pilot as well.
#11 Isn't He Perfect (30-1) - I don't see any scenario that would make him remotely competitive with this group.
#12 Shackleford (9-2) - Can he produce another gut wrenching effort at 12 furongs? Tough to bet and tough to bet against, your choice.
