The field for the Phipps might be small, but it's a fascinating race IMO.

I know everyone seems to be in love with Banned, and he's good....but I'll take Street Game over him as the best 3 year old turf horse right now.

As a sidebar, Street Game's win was Curatolo's first stake score. Smilin' Phil Serpe's last GSW came in the Fort Marcy in May '09 with Cosmosnaut...

And to revisit the sophomore male class discussion for a second, whatever it allegedly lacks in dirt routers, it feels like it more than makes up for in sprinters and turfers.
