For us real fans, we dont need outside "marketing" ideas to get us excited about the BC. As long as the best horses in America race in it I will just be A ok.

It's a rare smart move by the BC's marketing suits. They've limited themselves to preaching to the choir since the event's inception. There a literally hundreds of thousands of internet poker players looking for options to bet online and the legalization of web poker in the US is closer than anyone in racing wants to admit. I don't think The Grinder would have been my first choice, but he's okay for this purpose.

Exactly.
So, what's the point of trying to convince poker players they can make money gambling on horses again? When they don't even let the championship-gambling-winning spokesperson "show how it's done", because trying to really gamble would be ... idiotic?
