Default AP Indy turf progeny

anyone know if he has had any notable horses that were stakes winners on grass. I dont know why they keep forcing these AP Indy's to run on grass, today at Saratoga was another beautifully bred AP Indy out of the stakes winner Friendly Michelle that runs on grass, and stinks up the joint. There was another AP Indy grass runner that was a heavy favorite on Thursday also for pletcher that stunk up the joint, but at least the dam side was bred for grass.

I think they forced this AP Indy to run on the grass because he showed no ability in the am on the dirt and they knew he had no shot sprinting. Grass is your only option until Belmont to go long. Friendly Michelle was a top sprinter in her day, never running on the grass. You hope the Pletcher backers keep betting on these kind of horses, they're good to play against.

Before Coolmore used to buy these multi million dollar AP Indy's and ran them on grass they suddenly wised up stopped buying them altogether and sending them to Ireland, Tabor has some and left them with Pletcher. Then they win the Belmont go figure..haha

Godolphin/Darley as you know looks to have had the best of luck with their AP Indy horses ie Tempera, Bernardini, Music Note come to mind

Star Torino threw in a clunker after setting slower fractions than he did in his maiden win, had no excuse. Maybe she just got "Motted"

not great but not bad either. Thanks, i had no idea Golden Missile won a turf race at Ellis. Guess AP Indy's on the grass arent that bad, guess just because he hasnt had a great grass horse doesnt mean he doesnt produce graded stakes race runners.
