Ron Paul is a viable choice. You're just conditioned to be stupid and selfish. Major cuts will be needed. Fat selfish f.ucks don't sacrifice or share so it's not happening.

So vote for the big bag of suck. F.uck the future.

Wow. Remind me to stop agreeing with you. It makes you rude.

I'm sick of Obama not getting credit where it's due. I'm not thrilled with all he's done.

But let's try attacking the Republican party, for literally doing fucl<ing nothing at all for two-three years, and bragging about that being their party platform.

They don't like his jobs bill? How about at least letting it come to the floor of the Senate for a debate and discussion, and so amendments can be added, and for a vote?

They are completely obstructing the Supercomittee, too - they haven't even allowed agreement on routine procedure.

Our Constitution requires 51 Senate votes - the Republicans are still using parlimentary procedure to require 60 for every. single. vote. Everything is a cloture vote.

The last remnants of the Republican party is completely obstructing our government, preventing anything from happening, and they all need to be gone.

You can't debate policy differences between parties, and help US citizens, on the national scale when one political party simply refuses to get involved, and has as it's deliberate goal the complete obstruction of the other party, and literally grinding our government to a halt and preventing that discussion.

No wonder Occupy Wall Street is growing, while successfully refusing to be co-opted by any political party. The American people are angry, and they've had enough of this Republican blockage ****. 65% of Americans support Occupy Wall Street, and 60% support the very policies the Republicans are currently blocking from discussion.

These Washington loons (of both parties) think they are "safe" in their power positions. They'd better reassess.

Ron Paul wants to disassemble our government. I realize the appeal to an anarchist, but the rest of us may want to stay with that whole democratic republic thing for a while longer.

You're not in a democratic republic. It's a collectivist, borderline communist system. Go ahead and try to dispute that.

I'd call it a plutocracy.

there really are changes that need to be made. but who will bell the cat?? i dont think paul has a shot tho.
no one seems willing and able to say, look we all need to quit effing around and face facts. here is where wwe are, where do we want to go? and then we need to make the necessary changes. ignoring a problem doesnt make it go away.

I'm neither stupid or selfish, not fat either. Some of Paul's positions make sense and some do not. Overall, he wants to dismantle the entire government and while that has some appeal to those of us who are frustrated again, he offers many overly simplistic ideas to complex problems. You speak of the future, but to get there we must first survive the present...like it or not progress, while it can certainly be sped up cannot move at the speed of light otherwise, we'll get to a point where we look back and say, "oops"!
