Marathon not part of ESPN’s Breeders’ Cup coverage
The $500,000 Breeders’ Cup Marathon (G2) on November 5 will not be part of ESPN’s and ABC’s live television coverage of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships.
TVG will instead provide live coverage of the Marathon at 1:20 p.m. EDT. ABC will start its Breeders’ Cup Saturday coverage at 2 p.m. and then ESPN will cover the remainder of the card starting at 3:30 p.m. http://www.thoroughbredtimes.com/rac...-coverage.aspx |

Nice avatar bigs!
I spoke with him on the phone yesterday for over an hour, while fixing his computer over the Internet and phone. He was actually pretty tolerable, and his opinions on the BCC, I found them to be remarkably lucid. |

His horse racing opinions were always worth reading. It's his other sports and social opinions that got him in trouble. He should be the anti-Clyde. Allowed to post in racing threads only.

His football opinion was one of the most comical and entertaining things that I have ever read on this board. Not to mention the legandary mush he was that one season. He lost an epic number of games in a row (whether he was betting them or not).

Just thought to check ABC to see if anything could run into their BC coverage. Good news: no. However I saw what they're opting to show instead of the BC Marathon. The movie Sweet Home Alabama. That thing is on tv periodically. Not sure why they slotted it in rather than show the entirety of a live event. Make all the cracks you want about whether the race is worth paying attention to or running. They could at least muster up some first run programming to air instead.
