Apparently broke his thumb, the Bears were really on a roll, this pretty much eliminates them from playoff run.

Sucks to be a Bears fan. They are playing really good football. At worst they are the 3rd best team in the NFC and top 5 or 6 in the NFL right now. Shitty break for them.

Not necessarily, the Schedule is as followed.
@ Oak
vs Den
@ KC
vs Sea
@ GB
@ Minn

Right now they are tied with Detroit who is 7-3 too. But the Lions still have to play the Pack twice and once against the Saints.

Advantage Bears.

Falcons have a pretty favorable schedule down the stetch so I will pencil them in for a wildcard spot.

Also Dallas which has the Giants twice seems to have the much easier schedule than the Giants. Figuring one of those teams will win the division while the other one will miss the playoff entirely (most likely the Giants due to their schedule).

So despite losing Cutler (which I'm hearing some Bears fans aren't that broken up over anyway), I think the Bears still have the inside track to the post season.

Bears fans may believe in Caleb Hanie now, but lets see when he has a few weeks under his belt. Be careful what you wish for. Cutler was playing very well as of late. Their schedule is pretty favorable and they do have the inside track to grab the wild card, but losing Cutler is not going to make them a better team.

They wont beat Oakland or Green Bay, Im very confident of that. They should beat KC and Seattle, confident of that also. Denvers D is OK and without Cutler, who knows? Thats a toss up. THey should beat Minnesota, but division rival=spolier sometimes. So at the very best I have them going 4-2 that should get them in. They could very easily go 3-3 or 2-4 and then who knows?

My first thought when I read the Cutler news last night is that the Bears are done. Then I remembered that the Bears had like 160 yards of offense last week and still scored 37 points. And they've gone to a Super Bowl with Rex Grossman as their starting quarterback.

In other words, since when did the Bears offense matter? And with the sorry schedule they have left, I'd bet they go 11-5 or so and make the playoffs as a wild card. I wish they'd blow up because I loathe the Bears, but I just don't see it happening given the schedule.
