Bout damn time MLB HOF
Ron Santo will be at last going into the HOF! That is wonderful news, and long over due! Which is the part that frankly pisses me off! It's a damn shame of they couldn't do this while the man was alive and able to share this with his family! The numbers didn't exactly change after he passed away around a year and a half ago! Again it's well deserved, and Ronnie I hope your smiling you made it, just wish you'd have been here! I been a Cubs fan going on 30 years, we miss you Ron!

Really?? Was it the .277 Lifetime average, the 342 HR's in a Homer Friendly park or leading the Cubs to all those WS titles that put him over the top. Sorry to see him pass however his stats are hardly HOF worthy.

Stats aren't everything. This guy deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.

I'm in this camp. Very good player, nice guy who dedicated his life to baseball, but stats wise not HOF worthy.

Offensive stats are not everything, he was a hell of a 3B, at least that is what old timers tell me.
