Default Can anyone explain this one to me? Twin Spires Club Elite

So CDI changes the rewards program about a week ago. I've read the new terms and conditions over a few times, but I just....don't get it.

If I go to Churchill this year- but don't wager $25k annually- I get zero rewards points.

But- if I stay at home and use the Internet via TwinSpires.com, I'll get points.

I'm not in Marketing- but I just don't get this one. The food and drink is cheaper at home too....you want to give me another reason not to go to the track?

You can use Twinspires at the track. I think they want you to have the computer savvy of an 8 year old.

They sent me a silver VIP elite card the other day with a note saying I had bet enough to be "at least" a silver level player for the rest of the year. It was the first realization I had in a while that I gamble way too much. My wife asked me, "How do you earn silver VIP status?". My reply, "You get free programs and free admission to CD, even gen. admission to the Derby, other perks". She said, "No, I asked how did you get to silver level?" I didn't say a ****.ing thing after that.

When you bet via twinspires CDI makes close to twice the amount as they would when you make an ontrack bet because they pay the horsemen far less for the offtrack/twinspires bet.
