Default SUN - Keeneland (R5-R9 PK5/PK4); HAW PK4

Fun Saturday of racing, especially at Hawthorne where I was alive until the last leg of a Pick 6 (#7 Arena Elvira 3rd) that should of paid in the $3k range.

The three year old scene was at Aqueduct and Keeneland. The Lumber Guy laid the wood at the Big A and refused to lose. At Keeneland, All Squared Away lit up the toteboard at 70-1 producing monstrous payouts.

Great card at Keeneland today. Expect Julien Leparoux's mounts to take plenty of action at the windows following his six wins on Saturday. If he just comes down to earth, there's plenty of value on the card.

Keeneland POST SCRATCHES - POLY / FIRM

R5 - Alw 54K/N1X (Turf 9F)

#7 Sachem Spirit (3-1) - Will be forwardly placed in a paceless race. WON $5.40
#4 Malibu Way (4-1) - Could sit ideal trip behind #7 Sachem Spirit. 2ND
#6 Animal Spirits (8-5) - G3 winner on this course owns a class edge.
#2 Aldous Snow (8-1) - Draw a line through off the turf try in comebacker. 3RD

R6 - MSW 50k

#4 Let's Go Ben (5-1) - Steady local works indicate improvement for 2012. WON $9.80

#10 Washington Dash (6-1) - Barn always sharp with 1sters, especially at KEE.
#8 Curzon Street (6-1) - Catalano has taken his time with him in the mornings.

R7 - Alw 58k/N2X (Turf 8.5F)

#1 Walker's Landing (9-2) - Saves all the ground and makes a big late run.
#2 Versailles Road (4-1) - Looks to get a nice stalking trip and it doesn't hurt 4TH
that he's the only one with a local win.
#7 Gathering Cloud (7-2) - Versatile runner can adjust to pace scenario. WON $7.80
#5 Cognashene (10-1) - Consistent sort has to be considered for a minor award.

R8 - G3 Ben Ali

#3 Rogue Romance (7-2) - Powerhouse performance in return and Leparoux will have options from a good draw.
#5 Ioya Bigtime (10-1) - Poly by far is his preferred surface.
#6 Wise Dan (7-5) - Needed a race in 2011 in return and the price will be skinny. WON $3.60
#4 Guys Reward (10-1) - Has shown the ability to continue earning minor checks. 3RD

R9 - Clm 40k N2L

#1 Atlantic Titan (8-1) - Inconsistent runner could possibly improve on the poly. WON $19.00
#7 Stinking Creek (5-1) - Does bring some speed and human connections too strong to leave out. 4TH
#9 Zokarion (4-1) - The GP turf to synthetic angle has to be considered in this puzzling race. 2ND

Brian Pochman's closer look on Mandurah doesn't even mention that the horse owns the world record for a mile.

Good luck today Gus.

Thanks Joey, maybe he failed to mention it because it was over 22 months ago and that race clearly zapped him out. That was one hell of an effort at Monmouth.

Good luck as well. Keeneland has been tricky as usual, but worth playing from a value standpoint.

Thanks Matt, he's (Gennadi Dorochenko) definitely tough to gauge and should make things interesting again at Arlington this summer.

Unfortunately I was not smart enough to use Atlantic Dream. Nice call on that horse, Gus!
