i tell you, this has been one hell of a series. i know that people say the caps 'choke' but neither team has done that here. been a nail biter from game one.
Unless they blow a lead late it's impossible to say that the Caps choked. They were a 7 seed coming in after playing very poorly the majority of the season. The fact that they are in game 7 vs the defending champs with their 3rd string goalie is pretty miraculous. Caps fans have to be pleased with the performance regardless of the outcome here.

i want the panthers to win and the sens, as i don't like the devils and i hate the rangers.
would be interesting if the top four seeds all go out first round, but i'd be surprised. i have a feeling nj pulls out the game 7 vs fla. rangers-who knows?

but please, please don't mush the caps.

i am very happy with how things have turned out all things considered. fire a coach and hire another, injuries throughout the season-especially to nick and green-really didn't help. and now late with the goalie situation. holtby has been simply amazing in this series. the caps ought to be proud of how they've done.
but it'll still be a bitter pill to swallow if they don't advance with all the high hopes at the seasons' start.
