Default Beyer's Bodemeister/Daddy Nose Best exacta

As is often the case, I agree with pretty much everything Beyer says in that DRF article.

In particular, I haven't understood why Union Rags gets so much love, when he's never delivered a bsf better than 96. He looks like one of several good but hard-to-separate Derby horses that are a level below Bodemeister. Union Rags may be the most consistent and most battle-hardened of that 2nd tier group, but IMO he's done nothing to show he's got the most ability.

bode beat a brutal group, on a racetrack that carries them home. His figure should be taken w a grain of salt. I myself do not incorporate a bsf into my handicapping. This years derby could be as simple as following the best 2yos through their 3yo season. The BCJ form has held those horses as the best in this crop, which is a very good group. I don't think Bodemeister will get a sniff tomorrow.
