Default letter to the editor

there are times i find the letters to the editor of the paper here to be funnier than the comics....here's a gem for you, from a guy in springdale ark:

"the granting of the vote to women was the time women first began to get out of their places and out of their god-given roles as housewives and queens of their homes. this was one of the first great mistakes leading to the mess we have in this land today. the moral mess of busted families and many other things wrong in america started getting out of place way back there.
now here in 2012, god knows how badly the train as gone off the tracks.
women soon started cutting off their long hair, wearming mens' clothes and looking like jezebels sooner after, in rebellion to god's word for them. rebellion to god first, and man second. and the spiritually discerning person can witness the madness of this country and how it started with the granting of the vote to females.
america, your time is coming."

lmao. boy, if he saw me right now he'd have a fit. wearing jeans, hair short, make up on, and how dare i have an office with my name on the sign. i've surely taken a job a man should have!!!!!

There is something to be said for someone being at home taking care of the kids, home schooling, etc, but I'm not sure why that would necessarily have to be the woman doing that.

and of course it's wrong for the man to be home, didn't you read what the guy said?! lol some guys just can't handle women being able to choose how to live their life.

I met guys like this in the late 1970's - 1980's, when I was one of the first women paramedics.

I took his job.

I read an interesting assessment of the financial crisis. It said that if banks, investment houses, etc. had more women in positions of power, they would not have made such reckless decisions. Women are more conservative and "global" in their thinking, and the firms that had alot of women VP's did better than those that did not. I'll try and find it ....

Here it is:

Why did the bankers behave so badly?
Anne Sibert

Greedy bankers are getting most of the blame for the current financial crisis. This column explains bankers did behave badly for mainly three reasons. They committed cognitive errors involving biases towards their own prior beliefs; too many male bankers high on testosterone took too much risk, and a flawed compensation structure rewarded perceived short-term competency rather than long-run results.

Riot, the whole banking mess is nothing more than a complete fabrication, on every level.

Look into understanding fractional reserve banking. And not from mainstream sources like wikipedia.
