I thought he was terrific in a 50's movie called A Face In The Crowd. Really good film.

What a shame. He was one of the best. I can't think of anything he was in that I didn't like.

Default Wow gonna miss....

Andy, he was a wonderful talented man, singer, actor, musician. I spent so many hours watch The Andy Griffith show, i feel like that character on one of the early episodes called "Stranger In Town". The guy who got off the bus and knew all about everyone in the town, though he had never been there lol! Great episode, if anyone remember's it? As a kid also i recall Andy as a storyteller in one of the Frosty The Snowman holiday classics. "No Time For Sgt.'s" is a classic comedy, Andy's character Will Stockdale the plow boy who became PLO (Permanent Latrine Orderly) and dang proud of it, very funny picture! RIP Andy, and thank you for all the hours of entertainment you provided.

Andy Griffith introduced me to bluegrass music via the show. RIP. We'll miss you.
