Default 9/22: BEL ($31k C/O); PRX (Stakes P4); DEL (Kent); CT (Oaks)

Wild sequence at Belmont Friday produced a $31k carryover and $10k late P4. Identical C/O jackpot at Fairplex too. Fun and eclectic day of action ahead with Pennsylvania Derby/Cotillion/Gallant Bob sequence at Parx as well as excellent wagering events at Delaware (Kent) and Charles Town (Oaks)..

BELMONT PARK

POST-SCRATCHES

2nd: NY-ALW/N1X, F&M-3+, 8.5f-IT (P4, P3, DD)

Best Value: #7 Sally's Dream 4-1 WON ($9.90)
Next Best: #1e Broman entry 8-5 2nd/4th
Exotics Use: #4 Chasing Piper 6-1 3rd
Super Add: #2 City Scamper 15-1 7th

3rd: NY-MSW, 3+, 6f-T (P3, DD)

Most Likely: #8 Readtheprospectus 3-1 4th
Next Best: #9 Big Guy 4-1 9th
Exotics Use: #1 Lakota Freud 5-2 3rd
Super Add: #4 Call Up the Chief 15-1 6th

4th: OC/S-ALW, 3+, 8.5f-IT (P3, DD)

Most Likely: #3 Wildcatter 3-1 3rd
Best Value: #2 Late Starter 5-1 6th
Next Best: #5 Late SCR
Exotics Use: #9 Tazered 12-1 7th

5th: ALW/N1X, 3+, 8.5f-T (P6, P3, DD)

One of the day's more intriguing groups with well connected first turf players Battle Hardened and Hon. de Leon drawn inside and any number of considerations sprinkled throughout. Tough way to end the early P4 and start the carryover sequence. I loved Battle Hardened back at the begining of the year and recall talking to Kenneally about when he would ultimately go green and today's the day..

Best Value: #1 Battle Hardened 12-1 9th
Next Best: #4 Coexist 6-1 4th
Exotics Use: #3 Hon. de Leon 12-1 7th
Super Add: #6 Key to Power 15-1 8th

<$75 P4 Play:

2: 1-4-7
3: 8-9
4: 2-3-5/SCR-9
5: 1-3-4-6-8-9

3x2x4x6 = 144 x .50 = $75

6th: CLM/N2L, 3+, 8.5f-IT (G/S, P3, DD)

Most Likely: #4 Not Today 7-2 8th
Best Value: #7 Chilton 10-1 6th
Next Best: #9 Kitten's Kid 5-2 WON ($4.30)
Exotics Use: #3 Yankee Kitten 5-1 3rd

7th: CLM, F&M-3+, 7f-T (P4, P3, DD)

Best Value: #5 Pure Amour 6-1 12th
Next Best: #11 To the Point 8-1 2nd
Exotics Use: #3 Primal Baby 7-2 3rd
Super Add: #2 Rough Winter 6-1 5th

8th: OC/N2X, 3+, 1m (P3, DD)

Not so sure this is run on the oval like it draws up on paper. For austerity purposes in the P4/P6, you have to hope the winner comes from the top pair. Barclay Tagg winless streak dates back to June 16, an 0/47 run, but Ya Gotta Have Soul caught my eye as a 15-1 (or more) flyer having drilled 6 times since solid try upstate behind freight train Dominus..

Most Likely: #4 Bellamy Brew 8-5 3rd
Next Best: #6 Associate 3-1 WON ($6.90)
Best Value: #2 Ya Gotta Have Soul 15-1 6th
Exotics Use: #8 Beautyinthepulpit 10-1 5th

9th: 19th Gallant Bloom (G3), F&M-3+, 6.5f (DD)

Again, if you're involved in the P6, you need one of the two overwhelming favorites to come through because while Musical Romance and Turbulent Descent aren't 100% guaranteed to produce the winner, there's no glaring price opportunity screaming 'Bet me!' either..

Most Likely: #9 Musical Romance 5-2 3rd
Next Best: #10 Turbulent Descent 9-5 4th
Best Value: #3 Dust and Diamonds 12-1 WON ($19.60)
Exotics Use: #7 Emma's Encore 8-1 6th

10th: NY-MDN CLM, 3+, 7f

Some finish to the sequences with one of these notorious state bred maiden $20k's where winners come from every nook and cranny..

Most Likely: #11 Bandit's Heart 4-1 WON ($7.50)
Next Best: #8 Pure Nature 9-2 4th
Best Value: #10 Current Aquasition 12-1 9th
Exotics Use: #3 Reggie D 8-1 2nd

<$150 P6 Play:

5: 1-3-4
6: 4-7-9
7: 5
8: 4
9: 9-10
10: 3-8-10-11

3x3x1x1x2x4 = 72 x $2 = $144

<$75 P4 Play:

7: 3-5-11
8: 2-4-6-8
9: 9-10
10: 3-8-9-10-11-14

3x4x2x6 = 144 x .50 = $72

DELAWARE PARK

POST-SCRATCHES

7th (4:15pm ET): Kent S. (G3), 3yo, 9f-T (P3, DD)

As discussed with Mike Beer on ATR, terrific betting race and particularly good if you can beat the underlaid Lucky Chappy..

Best Value: #6 Corinthian's Jewel 10-1 10th
Next Best: #10 Excaper 6-1 2nd
Exotics Use: #8 Miami Cat 12-1 9th
Super Add: #5 Two Months Rent 20-1 3rd

PHILADELPHIA PARK

PRE-SCRATCHES

8th (4:30pm ET): Alphabet Soup H-PA, 3+, 8.5f-T (P4, P3,

Tricky group that will require some spreading to start the all-stakes quad. Ryan's Gift has run well on the Tapeta at PID to merit inclusion in first authentic turf try SCRATCHED..

Most Likely: #2 Philly Ace 5-2 WON ($3.60)
Next Best: #8 Roadhog 9-2 2nd
Best Value: #11 I'm Sure 15-1 5th
Exotics Use: #1 Saco River 10-1 6th

9th: Gallant Bob, 3yo, 6f (P3)

Trinniberg at or near his best wins, but never-off-the-board Il Villano received a freshening and comes back on his home track off sharp run-up..

Most Likely: #3 Il Villano 9-2 4th
Next Best: #7 Trinniberg 9-5 2nd
Best Value: #1 Raging Daoust 12-1 7th
Exotics Use: #8 Currency Swap 3-1 6th

10th: Cotillion (G1), 3yo-F, 8.5f (DD, No Show Wagering)

As ridiculously dominant as she was at Spa, decision to single Questing in P4 not so easy with My Miss Aurelia certain to be tight now and in receipt of 7# from the Alabama winner..

Most Likely: #2 Questing 1-1 2nd
Next Best: #3 My Miss Aurelia 8-5 WON ($5.60)
Exotics Use: #4 Dixie Strike 4-1 3rd

11th: Pennsylvania Derby, 3yo, 9f

Alpha/Golden Ticket rematch alluring and all, but neither have to win with at least 4 here (Macho Macho, Csaba, Handsome Mike & Casual Trick) well within range. Macho Macho for me..

Most Likely: #8 Macho Macho 4-1 2nd
Next Best: #4 Alpha 9-5 5th
Best Value: #3 Handsome Mike 20-1 WON ($40.40)
Exotics Use: #7 Csaba 5-1 6th

<$75 P4 Play:

8: 2-8-11
9: 1-3-7-8
10: 2-3
11: 2-3-4-6-7-8

Main: 3x4x2x6 = 144 x .50 = $72
Narrow/Press (Bold): 3x3x2x2 = $36 ($18 for .50)

CHARLES TOWN

PRE-SCRATCHES

10th (10:30pm ET): Charles Town Oaks, 3yo-F, 7f (DD)

Best Value: #6 Jazzy Idea 8-1 6th
Next Best: #10 Beautiful But Blue 4-1 3rd
Exotics Use: #3 Book Review 3-1 WON ($4.80)
Super Add: #9 Holiday Soiree 12-1 2nd

Good luck!
Steve

Corinthian's Jewel is my top choice as well in the Kent Stakes @ DEL.

Belmont - Late PK4

R7 - 2 3 8 11 / 4 6 7 / 10 / 1 2 8 10 11 14 = $36 for $.50

Good Racing Luck

That 5th had sinkhole written all over it.. I could cap and they could run it 100 times and Which Market doesn't make my ticket once.
