I would guess Tim Thorton's understanding of figures would be on par with my analysis of the New York Jets offensive schemes.

Putting something out there for entertainment is all good. But a 20-part series on a 10% jockey at a meet where Torres was the leading rider (after a failed PID meet last year) is kind of excessive and the effort would be better spent doing Trips and Traps and Weekly Recap type stuff.

If you want more entertainment -- you also could have placed ads on milk cartons and kimchi jars to get Mortimer/Clyde to post here again under a new handle.

I find a 20-part series on that jockey almost as excessive as I find Mortimer/Clyde
Sadly, Mortimer/Clyde has been allowed back into esoteric, under a new name.

Do you guys really think he's that bad? I know that he's been well received by Arletta's ham wallet.

He is generally focused towards first timers, newbies, and the 18-25 age demographic, but I still think he can educate all people.

I will say that I can understand how those thinking they are hardcore or battle tested see him as trival though.

I was going to make a serious post, but I can't stop laughing at the "ham wallet" line.

I guess you give an A for effort.

The production is nice but you're telling me they spent a significant portion of the marketing budget for this?

It's embarrassing. CDI is absolutely clueless. The announcer with the canned audience noise is clown shoes. The track is an anomaly of suck that rivals an imaginary black hole. The horses are so awful that a turf race on a weekday looks akin to a waterboarding session on unwilling patrons.

And despite that small list of issues...which lets face it could be endless, they give us over 2 hours of video on a jockey who looks like the world's biggest douchenozzle.

FFS just withdraw the marketing department bank account and light the money on fire.

30 straight posts of nothing is annoying, as are the posts in which you have to scroll down through pages of empty space to see something completely stupid.

Which is why I blocked him many moons ago.
