will be watching from Florida where on a little R & R mission after a July filled with basketball leagues and team camps...getting older, getting crazier...a football coach turned girl's basketball coach - what one does when his granddaughter is involved and thye need a coach!!!

Bad news.. Bill Mott reports that Toy Cannon popped a splint and will have to SCR from Wednesday's race. Ideally, he'll be treated and be sidelined 7-10 days and will be able to get a start in the last 10 days of the meet.

Mott reports the freeze firing seems to have done its' job and Cannon will be back in full training shortly. I didn't press, but will guess later in September for start.

Cannon progressing. Galloping daily. Splint was fired a second time so it delayed getting him back to daily work..
