and why.

The filly. If both are flops on the track the filly will have more value as a broodmare.

i agree. altho out of toussaud is worth a second look. but overall, you'd have to take the gal.

If The Green Monkey can be a stud prospect, then I'd take the son of Toussaud, win some stakes races on turf (how many Toussaud progeny have failed?), and retire the horse and rake in the cash after a decent 3 year old season.

odd question.

i'd take the toussaud though. she is, in my book, one of the true great talents i've ever seen, had a breathtaking turn of foot, and turned out to be a fantastic producer.

i think her grandson, first defence, has some potential as a stallion.
