Default "BOL" to all DTer connections in Cup races, BCBC

Before it gets away from me, I wanted to be sure to wish the Breeders' Cup Betting Challenge entrants (Nick, Paul, Jack, Dan.. missing any?) good luck as well those tied on with runners. That includes Mitch (Round Pond) with Team Casse, Cherie (doll) with the Chad Brown barn and all others that have ties..

Safe trips. Get lucky!

Good luck to all from here that have a horse in a race, or a hat in a 'capping ring. Everyone come home safe.

Hopefully one of the posters takes the contest down. Those are some good guys and good handicappers.

Chad Brown is in a great position to have a good day and Casse is live in a few spots.

A lot of upsets today.

Hopefully one of you guys got lucky.

Someone who is an inflexible speed figure player probably bet their entire bankroll on Beholder in the contest.

Beholder had a double digit edge in speed figures on CJ's, a double digit edge on Beyer's, and her last race was the fastest race ever by a 2yo filly in history on Thoro-Graph figures.

When Kauai Katie was rated back and surprisingly relaxing well ... it was basically just a matter of how far Beholder could carry her insane sprint speed with no pressure at all. The answer was far enough.

A lot of people (myself included) looked really, really, stupid when the pace battle never materialized and the four dominant horses came trotting home together.

We started the day with a $7500 bankroll. I finished day one with $8576. That will give me plenty of ammunition for tomorrow so I can take some shots and still have at least $5000 to bet on the Classic.

The leader is at about $53,000 so far.

I would put Patrick Husbands in that category as well...
