Big collection of ne'er do wells here and a tough way to start a P6 C/O sequence. Shy Humor dives to the bottom off long string of nearly adequate, solid fig tries, but they came on turf. His debut on the Santa Anita main in October 2011 would woin this, but his subsequent dirt efforts were awful. Mixed signals. Hidden Vow another with OK turf races but dreadful main track form. Cameron Canyon gets a rider upgrade to Irad. Commanding Officer had a problematic non-effort 12/26 but his prior start for savvy Domino might impact this. Linda Rice sends FTS Pray for Rain SCR'D for Bill Hirsch and he won't have to be much to beat these..

This historic race has had many incantations at many NY ovals over nearly a century and a half and it now finds its' way into the early 3yo season at the Big A. Though I wasn't impressed with the way Long River broke his maiden 3 weeks ago, it did come on this strip and at this distance. That's something both Mudflats and Vyjack need to accomplish stretching out from 7f wins on the Aqueduct main on back to back days. Vegas No Show from the Breen/Hall factory was a good 2nd to Violence in the Nashua stakes and now takes off the blinkers after the expirement failed dismally in the Remsen. It's no small note that Paco Lopez takes a Saturday away from Gulfstream to retain the ride..

I am not convinced that Joe's Blazing Aaron lost that race based upon the photo that Gulfstream put up. Why did they not show the mirror image? That is an outrage to me.

The photo they showed was from the perspective of seeing Za Approval from the outside and it appeared to me to be slightly after the finish line. It appeared to me that even though it was blocked, Joe's Blazing Aaron's nose was right there with Za Approval's. They never showed the mirror image from the inside with Joe's Blazing Aaron's perspective. Whether I am right or wrong, I think it an absolute outrage to not show the mirror image there.
