Race 7) Found it interesting that while Baffert is 37% off this type of layoff, Formulator shows that he's is 0-10 with just 1 ITM finish when going 1st turf off the 61-180 day layoff (0-5 sprints; 0-5 routes)

I get the feeling Baffert wants to try something new with him given that he never stepped forward and broke through last year.. though he was steady as can be. Those 2 good runs at Del Mar hint at some possible turf ability.

Interesting race.
