![]() So he is a user. DUH!
Is he really that bad? I've had a nice pull of some "legal" cali, and a stout bourbon. His game was the cycle, mine life in general. And his competition was all clean? I say use what you got and best man wins. YOU? Spyder from SC

![]() Anyone with any sense knows the guy was cheating.
Ultimately, in a sport loaded with cheating, the fact that he was a cheater means nothing. The fact that he lied repeatedly about cheating is a far more grievous fault. |

![]() FWhat else was he going to say? Yes, I'm cheating. Of course not. To me, the cheating and lying about it goes hand in hand. For me, the biggest thing was him having the balls, well ball, to file lawsuits against those that he says falsely accused him. Deny all you want but don't charge others with lying while you know you're lying.

![]() This pretty much sums up reason #1 through reason #1,001 why Lance is a complete jisz bag and a bad guy...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIl5RxhLZ5U And yeah, I have no doubt he was always a great cyclist .... just like I have no doubt Barry Bonds was always a great baseball player (he was awesome as a stick figure for the Pirates, just not the greatest hitter ever) -- and I have no doubt Dutrow Jr. was always a great trainer. Of those guys, Bonds and Lance had it made before they ever had to cheat. Dutrow Jr. atleast couldn't prove his skills as well on merit, and he deserves more a pass for cheating than those guys do. If you think Dutrow Jr. is a bad guy ... Lance is the ultimate POS. |

![]() what am i on? i'm on my bike.....
![]() this guy sued people over accusations, and he was the pos liar all along. but i think the big story is who in the governing body helped him get away with it all these years? there's your rat(s). lance is a douche, but i guess he figured this was the best way to get things turned around. ah, scauses.

![]() what angers me about the whole Lance thing was the lengths he was willing to go to destroy peoples lives to keep this coverup going on. The way Lance prepared himself after his comeback from cancer he probably would of won all those races without PED's, but every great cyclist during his time were all caught using PED's. So I believe the playing field was level. But Lance Armstrong is the devil for threatening to literally ruin peoples lives over it, its not like most of these people had a choice because if they didn't it would of been perjury. Only Floyd Landis was not part of the Lance army and went out on his own to talk about Lance and cheating.

As the date of Lance Armstrong’s televised confession draws closer, there is now word that the cyclist and the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency have discussed the outlines of a deal. The New York Times says Armstrong met last month with officials of the USADA to talk about what he could do to reduce his lifetime ban from competition, and that USADA boss Travis Tygart is willing to shorten the sentence in exchange for Armstrong’s help in snaring his enablers. Those potential targets include the current, former, and honorary presidents of the International Cycling Union, known by its French acronym, UCI. The Times says that according to its sources, Armstrong is planning to testify about UCI officials’ involvement in doping. When we saw these reports last night, many of us at Slate went nuts. Wasn’t Armstrong the kingpin of cycling’s decades-long program of lying and cheating? Why would you cut him a deal to implicate anyone else? But when you study USADA’s 200-page report on Armstrong’s doping career (PDF), a deal begins to make sense. Yes, Armstrong deserves every day of his lifetime ban. But he’s finished. His confession seals his guilt and disgrace. The problem now is UCI, which, according to USADA, masquerades as an adjudicating body while protecting dopers. To clean up cycling, and to keep it clean, you have to take down UCI, or at least its current leadership. UCI presents itself as a drug cop. It claims its anti-doping program, designed to “get rid of cheats,” administered more than 15,000 tests in 2009. It boasts that all its blood samples “are taken by UCI-approved officials,” that all analysis is done by UCI-accredited labs, and that “the world’s leading experts analyze abnormal blood profiles. They advise the UCI on whether to open disciplinary proceedings for a breach of the anti-doping regulations.”

![]() Don't believe it 'til you see it. This is quite possibly the best promotion for a TV special since Capone's Vault and I have the feeling it will be just as empty. If this thing was a legit confession it will not be shown on the Oprah channel, she will sell it to ABC for enough to pay for three more years of that awful channel. I say he does not confess to anything specific and everyone feels as duped as Notre Dame fans.
