Best current off-shore Derby odds
Here are the best current futures prices available, looking at just 5Dimes ("5D") and Bookmaker ("BM"):
2 Oxbow* 40 , 5D 3 Revolutionary* 8.5 , 5D 4 Golden Soul* 75 , BM 5 Normandy Invasion* 10 , 5D,BM 6 Mylute* 33 , 5D 7 Giant Finish 52 , 5D 8 Goldencents* 7 , BM 9 Overanalyze* 13.5 , 5D 10 Palace Malice* 28 , 5D 11 Lines of Battle* 25.0 , BM 12 Itsmyluckyday* 14 , 5D,BM 13 Falling Sky* 55 , 5D 14 Verrazano* 5 , BM 15 Charming Kitten* 42 , BM 16 Orb* 4.75 , 5D 17 Will Take Charge* 22 , 5D 18 Frac Daddy* 50 , 5D 19 Java’s War* 20 , 5D 20 Vyjack* 21 , 5D At 5Dimes, if your horse doesn't start, the bet is canceled. But both Orb and Verrazano must start for the bet to count. At Bookmaker, if your horse doesn't start, tough luck--the bet is a loss. These odds work out to a track take of 13%. When TheGreek posts odds, probably later today, it will probably offer better odds on at least a few of the horses. 5Dimes also has odds for finishing in the top 3 and a few other props. Neither book has head-to-heads. 5Dimes also has Oaks futures. Here are some: Dreaming of Julia is 9-5. Midnight Lucky is 4.6-1 Unlimited Budget is 5.25-1 --Dunbar

TheGreek has posted it's Derby odds, but only beat the above list on one horse. They have Will Take Charge at 25-1.
They have listed a bunch of matchups, too, but haven't posted the odds on those yet. --Dunbar

Thanks for posting these, I only have an active account with Sportsbook.com but their odds are horrible. 5-1 on revolutionary? then 4-1 a piece on orb and verrazano, horrible odds.

Here's where the offshore books now stand. Bookmaker's odds have become ridiculously low. But 5Dimes and TheGreek are offering some attractive odds:
Post, Horse, futures, Racebook, CD odds 2 Oxbow* 30 , Gr, 22 3 Revolutionary* 8 , Gr, 5 4 Golden Soul* 60 , 5D, 29 5 Normandy Invasion* 10 , 5D, 7 6 Mylute* 20 , Gr, 13 7 Giant Finish 50 , 5D, Gr, 37 8 Goldencents* 7.75 , 5D, 7 9 Overanalyze* 17 , 5D, 14 10 Palace Malice* 25 , 5D, 23 11 Lines of Battle* 32.0 , 5D, 33 12 Itsmyluckyday* 13.5 , 5D, 9 13 Falling Sky* 55 , 5D, 38 14 Verrazano* 6 , 5D, 9 15 Charming Kitten* 40 , 5D, 29 16 Orb* 5 , 5D, 7 17 Will Take Charge* 30 , 5D, 30 18 Frac Daddy* 45 , BM, 23 19 Java’s War* 22 , 5D, 24 20 Vyjack* 42 , 5D, 34 The last numbers on the right are the current live Derby odds. Interesting to me that the books seem afraid to match the odds on Orb and Verrazano, but are offering large premiums on Revolutionary and NI. The books' odds equate to a takeout of 9%. --Dunbar
