THURS - Ellis Park (Spot Plays R6 & R8 on Turf)
Happy 4th POST SCRATCHES - FIRM
Ellis Park - Opening Day R6 - Alw 31.5k N1X (Turf 8.5F) #7 Red Wings (5-2) - Has been facing better and Mena should be able to work out a stalking trip. #5 Alandtom (9-2) - Hasn't missed the exacta in 5 turf starts and broke his maiden at Ellis with Pedroza aboard. Makes 3rd start of the year. 3RD #8 Foreclosed (12-1) - Confusing why a horse by Kitten's Joy out of a Lemon Drop Kid mare only has 1 try on turf in 15 starts. Not surprising if he wakes up here. #4 Courtmaster (12-1) - The lawn has been the gelding's preferred surface and should be forwardly placed throughout. 4TH Tri Box - 4 5 7 8 R8 - MSW 29k (Turf 8F) #9 Marching Band (5-1) BEST BET - Lopresti lethal with many angles here, especially on the lawn for the 1st time. #4 Doctor Vickie Lynn (4-1) - Got going too late in latest in a strong maiden turf race at Churchill. #12 Mrs. Darcy (12-1) - 4yr old finally makes it to the races for the patient Howard barn. Obviously must avoid traffic trouble, but nice value in an open event. #6 Kimallosa (9-2) - Contender with this bunch after not showing much versus better. Tri Key - 9 / 4 5 6 12 Tri P/W - 4 5 6 12 / 9 / 4 5 6 12 Good Racing Luck
