Breeders' Cup drops ladies' day concept

Per Santa Anita's stakes schedule release and BC's official horsemen's guide (Page 12), Breeders' Cup swapping Filly & Mare Turf and Juvenile Fillies with Dirt Mile and Juvenile Turf on event days this year.

Also, NBC/NBCSN is scheduled to broadcast 13 of the 14 Breeders' Cup races live, though interesting they are apparently going to have almost 45 minutes on air Friday before the first BC race while it won't have the first Saturday race due to a Notre Dame pre-game show.

Wish they had switched either the Turf Sprint or the Filly Mare Sprint in lieu of the Dirt Mile but I still applaud the changes.

I liked it the way it was. I just wish they'd take the Marathon out of any pick 4 sequence.
