steve gave out a horse yesterday
and i thought it would be worth putting in my watch list for the future
the horse was called sole train. with age my eyes are going bad but it looked to me at the top of stretch, on the turn, he looked like he was looking and got into trouble, did anyone see the same thing? or am i dreaming this happened |

While the horse did get bumped a bit at the top of the stretch, still sat a perfect rail skimmng trip, and just wasn't good enough against that level of competition, IMO.

Have to watch again, but the I Lost My Choo progeny seemed to be getting an ideal trip and though Sanchez got him jammed up a tad and Four More jostled him at the top of the stretch, there didn't seem to be a glaring excuse. Wasn't unhappy with Sole Train, but winner was much the best and at least V E Day ran on well to snare exacta.
