Default Who is Roberto Calvo?

He has a couple entered on Fri at GP. One is a Stronach that was with Mott last winter and is off a March layoff.

The other is a recent claim, Mythical Conquest who is an AE in a grass claimer. The horse was claimed at SAR, but I don't recall the name of trainer Calvo. Is he an assistant taking over for his "vacationing" boss or a guy who's gone out on his own?

Thank you. I was curious as he has one for Stronach that had been with Mott. Seemed like a strange transition, in fact it still does.

Why would anyone give a horse to a bum like Mott when you can give it to a great horseman like Dutrow?

He can only dream of one day reaching Dutrow's level of competence. That guy is such a great horseman he can move a horse up 10 to 15 lengths in just a matter of days....merely by worming it and cleaning its teeth.

I'd celebrate by lighting up a cigar if he were able to find that truly 'big' horse.
