Possible Gulfstream Park Handicap Field
This is shaping up to be a pretty competitive field with three horses coming off fairly decent efforts last out. Probables are:
Corinthian Master Command Jazil (although McLaughlin's assistant brother said they may try something new, which may or may not mean turf) A.P. Arrow Hesanoldsalt Lawyer Ron Race is this Saturday

I think I am going to stick with Hesanoldsalt. HE HAD A BULLET workout this past weekend. He is ready to go.

Like AP Arrow but really like him come the Suburban at Belmont this summer where he can get big sweeping turns. Should help fix turn problem he seems to have as he drops back and then re rallies in stretch alot

Wow. That is some sort of field.
Master Commander is really rounding into form. Corinthian is a good horse. Plus the others...wow. Price should be there if you like someone. |

Jazil is available at 16/1 in the Dubai World Cup future book.
Not only will he probably not run there....but if he did, I wouldn't want any part of him in that race, over that track, at 160/1 odds. Inspite of the fact that Godolphin is 0-for-29, with 22 of those losers in the first two choices in the betting, Discreet Cat remains the 6/5 favorite in the future book. Invasor is 9/5 and Premium Tap is 6/1. |

It may only be March, but I think the DWC is going to be the most exciting race of the year. As for the Gulfstream Park Handicap...I'm eagerly awaiting to see the actual field for this, but the list of probables are pretty decent in terms of the horses still in training.
