Default Santa Anita - Thurs 3/01

Should be a BIG pool for the pk6 carryover, and while I think it looks very tough as I couldnt really find a single, it should be hit if you spend enough to cover. I dont see several BIG surprises to force another carry. I would rather spend my $ on pk3's and pk4's so this is a cheap attempt at landing it.

3) 5,7,8
4) 2,11 ( the darn #2 scratched after I put my ticket in, so I PRAY the #11 is not the PT fav. Something is amiss with the 11 dropping down, but the horse has ran to well to exclude. I hope they make the #1 the fav as that is who I would used, or even the Mullins horse)
5)4,11
6)1,2
7)3,8
8)11 (single the 11 @ 8-1, would of liked to use Mullins #2 horse also but didnt want to spend twice as much and I ended up preferring the 11 who should come from off the pace)

pk3's & pk4's

6)ALL
7)3,5,8
8)11
$27

6)1,2,8
7)8
8)4,5,6,11
$12

5)2,4,7,11
6)1,2,8
7)3,8
8)2,11
$48

I am interested in seeing how Overly Tempting does here. Her second race was not that great, and she has had lots of time between starts. I am thinking the cut back from 7f then to 6.5f to today at 6f is also interesting, maybe they are going to try to bring her from off the pace today.....Too many ?'s for that short of price..

American Memories just won the last at Bay Meadows(at 12-1.)Bizarre dude. The 1st 2 wins of his career,I made good money from this horse. Then he ran good enough in a turf sprint for Hollendorfer to spend like 40k to claim him.I don't think this horse did a thing for Hollendorfer.I thought he was gunna end up in Vancouver,or something. He was showing speed in 10k claiming races, and stopping about 200ft into the race. He was a sad sight to watch run. Then he got claimed or something, and won for low claiming.Evidently moved up a little, and surprised some people today. That's an odd boy.He fools people. As you can see,he fooled me,or I would of had him in my mail, and knew he was going off at 12-1.If you saw some of his races, you would have given up on him too. When he is bad...he is ugly bad.
