I m a pretty big CQ fan, but I would never call any horse with his style a "lock". It is very easy for horse always running last down the backstretch to find trouble.
I also wouldn't call him a lock because there are some other good horses in this race. I really like Ketchikan. His last effort looks good enough to win this, and yet he is 8/1 ML. |

please keep your wager under 4 digits
if by chance cq looses the race, just pull up microsoft word and type your frustrations out versus good luck if your are playin |

Not a tremendous pace in this race. Liquidity sits just off Pletchers other and wins at 1 1/16. CQ will have to have a quick race at this short a distance and he is not going to get it.

Imawildandcrazyguy runs a strong second to Notional, speed figs in line with CQ, Liquidity rolled a 102 last out

Oh no Jerry, now you did it.
Guess what though. I do think he wins this race. |

CQ would've beaten these 5 months ago but we really have no idea if he's moved forward since then. Yes, he had a world of trouble in the Risen Star but the beaten lengths margin was deceptive because the race was really falling apart late. At the expected low odds and likely soft pace scenario, IMO he's a go-against. I like Pletcher's other horse better in here.

At least we can put to rest the 1-turn sprinter rhetoric that so many people have for him. CQ showed his class today.
Brilliant ride and move....should continue to be a force. Nice, tough race by Ketchikan too. Really dug in and ran well.... |
