Default Daylight Savings Time in Arizona

Well, the time has rolled around again for Daylight Savings Time, well, sort of. I moved to Arizona in December, and it seems that this state has never gotten with the rest of the fooking world and switched over to the standard Daylight Savings Time.

So now, when I tell people from any other time zone what zone I am in, I either have to a) tell them that it is Mountain Standard Time, all year, every year, when confuses the hell out of them, because they are on the normal time zones for the rest of the country, or b) tell them I am on Pacific zone NOW, as opposed to the last time I talked to them.

Either way, I have will have to go through the long explanation about how these rebels down here in Arizona will just 'show the world who is boss' and buck the system.

Pretty stupid, I my honest opinion.

Sorry for the rant...

...trying to figure out what time it REALLY is...

Well, in Tucson at least, the weather is great but the traffic totally sucks. Only been here for a couple of months, but Tucson is home of the University of Arizona Race Track Industry Program, which is the reason I am here, so it is worth it...

all sorts of things. you can go the business path (race track management) or the animal path (training, breeding, etc). Pletcher and Baffert and i think our very on Cannon Shell went through the program.

So did a bunch of race track exec's and other top people in the industry.

Check out the website. www.ag.arizona.edu/rtip also Doug Reed (the director of the RTIP) will be on ATRAB on Tuesday at 4:30 pm est.

also, i am happy to answer any questions
