Default Santa Anita 3/14

I want to know if anybody has noticed something about #7 Cat Of Fifty Seven(in the 4th race.) Does his last race look odd to anybody else? To me,he is enjoying that area of the track way out there wide.In the last race,an 80-1 shot comes flying from out there too.I think you should see that head-on(grey horse,)and compare it too Cat's head-on in the 6th race, because that is about exactly where Cat was running on the track. All I remember from that day(especially that race)is that I thought something was wrong with the track.Way too many reliable horses coming up empty. I am not saying the horse is a throw-out,but I think that race could be.

I will rewatch that race, thanks for the heads up scuds. I think the fourth can be won by Cyber City, Will, Fantasimin, Cat fity, or Indian....so I would not take a short price any of those. I tend to lean towards Indian Weaver but Cat is a must use. I am more concerned about the time off after that smashing win with a big fig, and he comes back down one level......Jorge Alcala is the type of trainer looking for purse $, not win %'s.

How chalky does the early pk4 look Scuds? You could go 3 deep in the 4th and still only spend $12.......might be worth going with a $5x play - I could see the early pk4 paying $35 for a buck. What do you think of the first, dreadful race. I tend to think Court Seeker is a single, but could add Klevens and feel 99% safe....and I am always looking to beat these types. The 3rd is a great race, some good ones in this one. Although, TheverythoughtofU looks much the best....the key might be using a couple in here and hope she has a bad day.

Looks pretty chalky. If you don't single Gomez' in the 3rd,then it isn't like you can go lean in there(with anybody else.)Keep trying to see a way to make money in the early p4,but haven't got a way, yet.

that was a wicked turn of foot for Gemstone in her first start....but something tells me that will never be duplicated. I think the 2nd is key to the pk4, I think Jungle Girl is a single BUT others that interest me a bit are the first timer Writ as Truman has a big ROI with Chavez and first timers, and either Just like her, as something tells me she has speed to sit off the #1 and hang on if Jungle tires and mayhbe Flight Clearance.....decent race first time out and if she improves then she has a shot and should have a similar trip as Just like her.

hey mera! Humm....I have been a faithfull follower of Sacred Light but I am jumping off that train tomorrow probably - I think he is a better dirt horse......although, I do think that one is wide open...not crazy about the three ML favs, so going with Icy Ridge at 12-1 and Like a Tiger 9-2...maybe throw Sacred on bottom of those...

Interesting ticket, I thought of going deep in the first, but it is just too painfull for me to even try to figure out that race past the top two...maybe Kreeker, but noticed you didnt use him.
Good luck in any case Scuds.

I am going with the theory that has won me the biggest payouts in the past...."when you expect the race to be crazy, go with the logical picks and when you expect the race to be logical go with the crazy picks".....only way to cash is to beat the 6 in the 3rd.

1)1,6
2)1,3
3)2,3,6,7
4)4,7,8
$48

Or I may throw the theory out the window and go

$5x play
1)6
2)1
3)6
4)4,6,7,8
$20

The late pk4 looks juicy, going to spend more time on it but I like the chances of some prices landing.

LOL,Kreeker is gunna be inducted to the hanger Hall of Fame.I will never forget the 5 1/2 f race at Anita about a year ago(on a Friday...6th race.)Gomez and her come running big and bold.Gomez has already got his canned "Well You Know" statement ready for the HRTV interview. Suddenly she is dead empty. As fast as she hit the front, she even more quickly was empty. Here came the 8 year old mare named LUCID.."Look What I Found"..Pretty funny race to watch.Try to find it.Date isn't in the form anymore.I think it was a Friday in April '06.
