Default Pick 6 pool pays $14 million to one winner

Imagine that, a $14 million dollar payout. In Puerto Rico it is called the P6 Pooltote. The pool gets carryover money until only one person hits the P6. I had heard about this type of thing but never read an actual article about someone winning it. The p6 has a base wager of 25 cents too. Bulya ! and get this , The Payout is Tax Free ! Sounds like a dream I had when I passed out at the christmas party !

yeah, i read that too the other day.

i was thinking. next time it gets up to about 10 mil, move to puerto rico for a few weeks. play a p6 with 10 horses in each race. that would only cost 250k there.

so long as you were the only one doing it, eventually you would have to cash out as the only winner. nobody would realistically be able to hit it solo since you would also be hitting it daily as well.

Great Idea ! I'm surprised that the Cali P6 sindicates havenot done this already. I remember reading awhile back that someone proposed this pool P6 for the US and it was put down. I must admit I didn't understand the concept and reality of the thing as well.
NOW, If US racing wants a vehicle to stimulate interest and get on a couple of front pages, this would seem to be the perfect thing. Only a 25cent minimum, and NO TAXS' , There is a g-d.

There's only one race track in Puerto Rico, El Commandante. It is a great place and if you ever have a chance to go there, it is worth the trip especially for the Classico del Caribe at which people like J Velazquez and Angel Cordero show up. If Cordero wanted, he could certainly be Governor of P.R. He is incredibly popular there.

I think Beulah, or maybe it's Thistledown, plays it this way too, no?

Beulah's Fortune Six had a big carryover for awhile earlier this year, and it's run the same way. One unique winner has to take it down.
