In my opinion cobalt blue and adore the gold are both way to high on the list, and birdbirdistheword does not belong anywhere in the top 20.

He's plucky, professional and owns a turn of foot. To do what he did in the Risen Star showed gumption. In what is quickly becoming a group that is going to be tough to seperate, those qualities are 'endearing"...

The wiseguy's wiseguy horse.. Will get one shot at the brass ring. Going to get Matz tomorrow and see where Chelokee stands... Looks like IL Derby will be the place.

The balloting asks 'who has the best chance to win the Derby' and for starters, Birdbird is ASSURED a spot in it if McPeek wants, and that puts him ahead of many. McPeek loves the horse, says he belongs and I believe him.

Cobalt Blue was seen by Nick Zito as the single most outstanding individual in the SAR yearling sale two years ago and is heartbroken not to have him in his shed.

Adore the Gold is an overachieving sort who is just plain dead game and was actually best in the Fountain of Youth.

i understand what the poll means, as for cobalt blue and adore the gold i just figured they were to high, just my opinion, if i had a top 20 they would be 15-20, and as for birdbird, i dont see much there i think alot of ppl will agree that he just is not talented enough, my opinion is that birdbird is a 3 tier 3 yr old.

That's fine. I'm going to side with Ken McPeek on this.. No offense. Keep the name Tejano Run in the back of your mind though...

AHA!

Another that was impressed with Cobalt Blue over Curlin. Makes it about a 3:10 ratio.

I like him, with a Giacomo set up Derby.

I'll take Scat Daddy of these two early Pletcher stars. He can find a position up further.

No doubt that Circular Quay is my board horse for the Derby.I really think Todd knows this is his Ace.This horse LUVS Churchhill Downs, which is a big plus leading up to the Derby.I just want to see one or two bullet works before derby day.I just hope he doesnt show to much his next outing that would kill his price come derby day.

From what I've heard Pletcher considers Any Given Saturday (pre-TB Derby) his top 3yo. . . Whatever that's worth. . .
