Default Friday at Royal Ascot

Very good Coronation Stakes. 4 Guineas winners and 1 First Past the Post Guineas winner. Im on Price Tag and Lolita, I might have a saver on the Godolphin filly!

As the lads on sportsradio (from the Sporting LIfe site) keep saying, the most important thing in racing [GB style] is the GROUND. All of the Guineas represented in the Coronation were run on yielding, slow, heavy, or similar ground conditions this year , which didn't suit last year's summer hot-shot 2yo fillies at all. But given faster ground, they ran one-two.

I was glad to see Papal Bull come back and win after his event-filled run in the Derby.

He was my top choice at Epsom.
