Default Free Dubai PP's

Not sure if this has been posted. If so I do apologize. But here is a link to get free PP's for the races at Dubai.

You are more than welcome. Let me know your thoughts when you had time to look at the PP's.

Here are my thoughts:
How can anyone bet these races?
For me World Cup day is a day to watch and not to wager. If I wanted to just straight-up gamble I would go play the slots. There are people on here who are much better handicappers than I am, so maybe they feel confident comparing the quality of races & horses from 6 different continents, but I know I don't. One of the biggest aspects of handicapping is about figuring out which horses to toss. How can I do that when I don't know a thing about a horse's trainer or level of past competition? I can read the level they competed at in Australia and/or Narnia or wherever these horses competed at in the pp, but it doesn't really mean much to me.
I'd rather play Hawthorne's card.

I agree, but it is nice to see the PP's of the non-American horses as well to see the competition more clearly. But now that I have them, I am sure to place a wager or 2.

Thank you for posting the link for these, whodey!

Betting these races to me, is no different from others. And no, its unlike gambling on slots.

One does need some understanding of Timeform Ratings and to be able to closely note Euro comment lines.

They can be great races for wagering and fabulous to watch for the pagentry and excitement.

Handicapping is about figuring out what horses to toss no matter where the horse raced. With the internet, hadicapping races with horses from all over the world has become easy. All you have to do is put a little effort into each race than normal.

I dont think the internet makes it easy, could make it harder!

If everyone has the same info there is no advanatage. At least in terms of how much info do you have. Perhaps if you havea better computer program maybe it is an advantage but then that's not an internet issue.

You have to find a way to come up with an advantage. For me I try to watch videos of most or all the horses I bet. Perhaps it's just an illusion but I feel I need that to bet intelligently. Beyers dont help cause everyone has them.

If I could see most of these horses on video then I'd feel better, but as it is I am leaning on not playing it. Still, it looks fun to bet...

Exactly! That is precisely why I won't ever bet these races. If there is one thing I can't stand....it is effort.

You now have by far my favorite name of anyone on this board.
I considered naming myself Sunday Silence on here, but I didn't think I could live up to it. He is without question my all-time favorite racehorse.
Welcome to this fantastic board....and may you live up to your name.

With a little effort, you can make major $$$ with these races.
The exotic pools can be just as good as B.C. day or the Kentucky Derby.
I've made a bundle from the races at Dubai this winter.

Maybe YOU can, but I can't. I really feel like I would be just guessing too much. I always have trouble figuring out what to do with the Euros on BC Day, and this is 10 times worse than that.
Personally I only like to put my money on races that I feel fairly confident in, and here I don't feel like I have enough info to be confident.
Of course, I am a cheapskate, so that may be part of it.

Well thank you very much! I just discovered this board and am very happy to be here! As for living up to Sunday, well, I don't know if that is possible. Great racehorse, great stallion!!! I will never forget that beautiful boy.

The Timeform Ratings are just absolutely lacking. I feel naked with just these things and no race replays. I will watch for the pagentry.

I wonder if they will have an award for the "best turned out" horse in each race like the Turfway stakes races. Nothing like a best turned out trophy. I daydream about braiding. Especially horse hair.
