Default Late bloomers

Are there any non derby starters out there that you think will win a TC race? Le Gran Troi is the one that has caught my eye. I think he is running on the Wood undercard.

Chelokee would have a big shot in the Preakness.

He is running in the Bay Shore, but from the sounds of it, I don't think Frankel has any triple crown races in mind for him.
Plus, a mile may be his best distance, so who knows if they'll end up stretching him out.

Yes... I loved him last year, comeback was good, not great. Would like to see him in the Withers or the Peter Pan to prep for the Belmont as he has distance written all over his page...

les grands trois is supposed to run in the Bay shore.. a nyra.com press release bills the race as a 'rubber match' between Bill Place and Wollaston Bay... who are they kidding? Les Grands smokes this field.
