Playa, that is awesome of Guid, can't wait

Will you be at the Hawthorne Sale on Illinois Day at Hawthorne? I am most likely cruising down from Pleasantville to go to my first auction?

Good jock, always liked him @ Sar. He's earned his retirement.
The thrill he gave me on Lemons Forever last year will last a lifetime.

Aw I can't wait to see him this summer. Hopefully his last season at Arlington is a successful one.

Okay fellow Chicago racing fans....who is going to win the riding title?
Guidry, Emigh, or (in a long shot) somebody else?
I like them both, so I hope they both do well.

Yes....I am coming with $120 and playing supers in every race to try and win myself a race horse. We will have to meet up, probably coming with some protection given the area I told my buddy that we had to go to the races because I only want to drive in that area at dark once. We are probably going to come in the 290 side and shoot down Laramie. I took 55 in last time I was there a couple years ago and that ride from 55 to Hawthorne was a little tense for Scav.

I like Hip 14 and Hip 42.

Mark has always been a class act, from the first time I met him hot walking a horse on the shedrow for my mom at age 12!! He asked me with that twinkle in his eye "Who do you think you are leading big ole horse around?" lol We have had some very good jocks from our neck of the woods but none as nice. And he would get on some of the craziest back in the day. But my first crush was Randy Romeo when his dad and my mom used to race agianst each other. Gosh he sure was cute back then.

I love the Guid too. Sorry to see him go, but at least it's on his terms.
I remember him flyin way wide around the final turn in the '05 Derby on Buzzards Bay.... I thought he had it won, but Buzzard flattenend out.

Here's to him hopefully humbling Carlos Silva (I hate him because of the underachieving Twins pitcher of the same name), Bridgemohan, Houghton, etc.
