![]() Am I missing something, but how did the 8 horse not come down in the 2nd at Keeneland yesterday? He ran into the grandstand and then cut back across the track and onto the turf course - he was all over the place. I am just wondering why in the world he wasn't taken down.

![]() I am glad to see someone else asking this question. I have never seen anything like this. The winner greatly interferred with at least three horses. First driving two horses out, then ducking in and taking out another horse.
There was an inquiry, no objections, and no change to the order. Any other track this would have been an automatic takedown imo. I have seen so many minor bumping incidents resulting in disqualifications that its unimaginable how this one could stand. It did cause my Pk4 ticket to bomb out, but that ticket was dead on the next race anyway, so it really in the end didn't matter to me. I was left wondering what a horse would have to do to get taken down there. |

Yeah, I was surprised they kept him up too.. he was all over the place in the stretch.. I only saw the head-on, but it looked like he bothered at least 1 horse.

![]() It feels like there should have been an inquiry, though the pan is worse than the head on, and it is debatable how much he interfered with anyone. But, I've seen less come down.....I guess. I think the supposed interference is mostly illusionary.
I'm all for less takedowns. |

![]() There was a horse disqualified from 2nd place yesterday at KEE, wore saddlecloth #4 I believe....it was a monumentally bad takedown in my opinion.

How often have you seen a winner get taken down for slightly bumping a backpedaling leader as he goes by? Especially if the jockey on the backpedlaing horse stands up and checks hard. we had some great actors out here at Arlington last year that should have won academy awards for their performances. ![]() Like a soccer player trying to draw a foul by doing a flop, same thing! |

Looked to me like there was no contact. The 4 horse veered in, but was clear of the horse behind. |

I had forgot about the 4th race! How in the world do they take that horse down but let the horse in the 2nd race stay on top?????? That 2nd race was unbelievable. He bothered at least 3 different horses. The other horses were bolting away from him like a fat kid running from vegetables. I just was in shock when they didn't take him down and for the life of me can't figure this one out. |

This is a dramatic overreaction to what actually took place. A couple horses shied from him. There should have been an inquiry but it was hardly a major incident. |
