Bed of Roses, Aqu 8th
Since this is the TG ROTW, thought I'd give a quick rundown...
5 horse field, with 2 speed horses, and 3 closers... the key to playing this race may be to go against the fastest horse, Any Limit. She comes in off a neg1, and zero in her last 2 races (both at Gulf), a repeat of either makes her a winner, but she may be a "bounce" candidate. The most likely horse to run her race is Jerkens' other entrant, Swap Fliparoo, coming in off a stretchout "bounce", she should run a TG 1 or better. Both Livermore Valley and Carmandia (the other 2 closers) have nice TG patterns and should run well. The other speed, Magnolia Jackson has run a TG 4 in 11 of her last 12 races.. extremely consistent, but no reason to think she will improve today, and 4 should not be good enough to win. Swap Fliparoo is the play, using Carmandia and Livermore Valley under (save with Any Limit).
