Cannon, The Seahawks are on the clock! You are right on, they are milking the NFL, but I like it. I'm such a football junkie.

Can somebody tell Mel Kiper to cut that friggin wig piece???

They have just gone too far. I mean how much more useless info on unknown players can they pass off as news? They have had like 20 draft specials. I hope they cover horseracing a hundreth as much leading into the breeders cup.

Is hundreth a real word?

ESPN is one big commercial. In defense of Sportscenter....the banter between hosts is usuall the best part.

So you guys don't wanna tear apart my mock draft based on all the "info" and other mock drafts that have been crammed down my throat from ESPN, FSN, S.I., Sports radio, bloa bla bla bla?

I will throw this nugget of speculation out there though: IF ANYONE TRADES OUT TO PICKS #1 OR #2 OVERALL, IT'LL BE MIAMI. Why? They can offer up the 9th pick in the first round, plus they have 2 second rounders this year. If they throw in a 2nd rounder next year, it might be enough to get the deal done. I think Oakland would be more likely to take it than Detroit, but either team I could see doing it.

Here's why Miami should do it. They need a QB really bad. Do they really plan on rolling with Cleo Lemon again? They have a new coach in Cam Cameron, who was the former O-Coordinator at San Diego. He could groom a rookie QB under his new system. MIAMI NEEDS THE NEXT MARINO! They have the picks to move up. So eventhough the chances are small of it happening, if it's anyone, it'll be them.

It would seem that Oakland MUST get a QB, the ones they have are...well...pathetic comes to mind. They could trade down if they could still get Quinn. Detroit may hesitate taking another WR so high, I'd think they'd be more open to trading down but that would probably put Miami in the position of taking Quinn with the second pick...pretty high! It will be interesting. The Redskings have one pick in the first 5 or so rounds so they better make it count...I suspect it will be the safety or DE.

I hate it when all the mock drafts have your team picking the same guy and you get yourself all psyched up for him and then two days before the draft you start hearing that he might be gone before they pick. That looks to be the case with the Bills and Patrick Willis right now. Tampa will consider him at 4 if Johnson is gone, San Fran may take him at 11, and Denver might trade up somewhere between 4 and 11 to get him. I'd really love to see him fall to the Bills at 12.

Default Brady Quinn Dropping to 22ND

I guess NFL scouts weren't impressed with Brady Quinn beating up on Navy, Army, and Air Force. Now I will watch my Steelers make him cry Mommy Mommy when they are breathing down his @ss.
