Default In DRF what does * mean for Tomilinson #'s?

What does the * represent for the WET/TURF numbers in the DRF? My guess was that it indicated a number didn't exist for the dam or sire, but really don't know what it means. Thanks for any help.

I believe it's to indicate that the sample size is still low and not at the usual number they would use to make a Tomlinson.

SS,

The asterisk with a Tomlinson means that one of the sires that is involved in the quantification has yet to reach a statiscally significant base of offspring. Indicates basically that there's a new sire involved and the figure isn't yet firmly established...
